A simple schema that tells dashboardbase how to render your data. Your endpoint returns JSON in that shape — a title, a data block, optional actions — and we turn it into a widget. Most endpoints take a few minutes to write, or one AI prompt.

We never need access to your databases, and we don’t build a copy of your data — your endpoints stay the source of truth. We call them to render dashboards and to deliver what you ask for, such as alerts, and may briefly cache responses to keep dashboards fast. We also store what you configure: endpoint URLs, any auth headers you add for them, and webhook events for 30 days.

No. We never connect directly to your databases and never require database credentials of any kind.

We eliminate the app. Generating a dashboard takes five minutes; owning one takes forever — hosting, auth, mobile, access control, and maintenance don’t go away because the code was generated. Paste our contract spec into Claude or Cursor and you’ll have working endpoints in seconds. That’s the part AI is genuinely good at, and we lean on it.

Yes. Open www.dashboardbase.com/tv on the television’s browser, and it shows a pairing code. Approve it from your phone, pick which dashboard it plays and how often it refreshes, and it switches into a permanent fullscreen display. The TV never signs in — it holds its own narrow, revocable token that can only read the dashboards you assigned it. Every paired screen is listed in your workspace and can be unpaired in one tap.

Your endpoint returns an alert state alongside its data, and the widget surfaces it on the dashboard. From there the same alert can be delivered by push notification to the iOS and Android apps, by email, and to your team’s Slack channel via an incoming webhook. Delivery channels are opt-in per workspace. There’s no separate alert widget to configure — any widget type can carry one.
